On this Thanksgiving weekend, I’m giving thanks that (Lower) Wacker Drive is open again!! It’s been 2 years (?) but it feels like a lifetime since I’ve been able to get across town in style, skillfully avoiding the crowds upstairs while basking in the pale glow of the artificial lights that show the way between LSD and 290. Lake Shore by itself is, of course, a damn good road, but together? Man, they leverage that synergy like a consultant on crystal meth! Damn…
