Here’s a great account of some foreigners’ experiences in Pyongyang, back in 1995. Of particular interest, I think, is the section titled “Man Bites Dog.” As I think I’ve said before, I am absolutely fascinated by the DPRK (and any totalitarian government, really) and would love to visit. I guess that’s not going to happen anytime soon though. Oh well, maybe if I just wait long enough the US will go fascist. Then I can cruise around all day listening to awesome music!
