Woo-hooo!! I moved to Vancouver at the WRONG time - I’m comin’ back to audition! Hmmm, “cute, tall and fun”…well, I’m all those things, right? Unless by “cute” they mean mascara-d to the hilt at all times, and unless by “tall” they mean dressed in groin-revealing denim cutoffs, and unless by “fun” they mean “has an enormous rack”…then I guess I…wouldn’t…qualify….

not to give too much away here, but last night eric showed me his divx of girls gone wild and…i was not impressed. maybe i’ve seen too much REAL internet porn, or maybe it’s because uh, i’m a girl and can, you know, look at my own boobs whenever i want basically…[see, i'm doing it right now]…but it was just a lot of boobs and maybe some girl on girl action that was just sort of creepy, since there is always a ring of guys holding beers standing around watching and taking pictures or maybe just contenting themselves to reach in and cop a feel. and i don’t mean a chest feel, either. i think i managed to sit through about 15-20 minutes before i finally caught on to the ‘flash/get beads/flash again’ formula of the show and decided sleep was a better option than listening to that ‘outRAGeous bro!’ sound clip for the 30th time.

what did i think of it from a more ‘moral’ standpoint? mostly, i felt an odd mixture of ‘gee, i guess this is degrading, sort of’ and ‘wow, these chicks must really feel like queens of the universe, holding all of these guys’ attention with something as trivial as their bodies.’

also i couldn’t help thinking: ‘man, when these girls try to run for the senate in a 10 years, they won’t be so excited about this’ and ‘i bet a lot of people walk away from spring break with infections or stds.’

also there was this one girl who had huge implants that looked to be the size of cantaloupes and about the same firmness. they were like, about 4 inches lower than a boob should be (if you’re under 60) and were sort of hanging off of her chest from these little pieces of sort of gross shrunken skin that looked like they were tired of holding up so much plastic. ew.

Yes Kara - you must have bad morals to want to gawk at greasy frat boys:) Though for humor value I could probably sit through a few minutes of it myself…
As for “Guys Gone Mild” - I LOVE IT!! “Hey Girls - here are the MEN of your dreams…they’re sensitive, they like cuddling, when you have cramps they get the ibuprofen without even asking!”
I’d be so there…until I’d reach the conclusion they were wimps and leave…

I’ve got the first one on DivX, it’s pretty amusing but totally not worth the 9.99 or whatever they charge for it. I mean, maybe if you didn’t have a internet connection, or a copy of FHM, or like… an imagination. But yeah, it is some funny stuff, especially the fact that the soundtrack seems to have been constructed out of various ambient bits and pieces and loops every 10 minutes or so. You can tell cause you keep hearing the same weird voice saying, “They’ve gone wild!”

Indeed, there’s the rub. I guess I’m surprised that there actually IS a market for the videos. Pornographers have tried to do that kind of stuff for years, and only recently has the market been developed for “hetero-woman-oriented” porn…(scene from a porn producer’s office; “Guys, I think I’ve figured out a way to make porn women will wanna watch - I’ve discovered they seem to be in to something called ‘foreplay’ - no, no, I don’t know what it is either, but I’ve hired someone to research it”).
Maybe the “Gone Wild” phenomena is its own attraction, and that’s why women are buying it…my VISA is staying in my wallet…
