So…
Paul Ford: “Why Wasn’t I Consulted?”
in Re: Viz Media Launches New Website and Leaves Much to Be Desired
Brings to mind…
- A graphic designer takes some cheap shots at the American Airlines website…
- A UX designer from AA writes him back to say (paraphrasing here) “Look dude, we *know* it sucks but have you considered the realities of building a website for a huge public company (i.e. approvals, bureaucracy, etc.) as opposed to posting snarky comments on a design blog?
- And then after he posts the response, AA fires the UX designer…
As Mitch Hedberg says… “You can’t please all the people all the time… and last night, all those people were at my show.”
