Weird. I watched Science of Sleep yesterday, too, but had the opposite reaction. I fell asleep during. This is my first time seeing your blog. Wonder how many other people in the bay area were watching science of Sleep yesterday? Useless information? Maybe.

well, I want to say we are all Indigenous people of the world. We are all human and that means equal. Just because I have white skin and hair does not mean anything. We are a species. We depend on the earth. I belong here and so do you. All the divisions amongst us are wrong, we are HUMAN. Basic syntax. Other than that, I must say this was inspiring and made my love for the human race come to the forefront. We are all humans first and foremost and it does not matter about RACE or SEX. We are human and we need to fight the corporation and the government that says they are human. Only if you breathe and bleed and pee are you HUMAN. Corporations are an evil that needs to be severely limited and governments the same. Only you can look into the eyes of another HUMAN and decide whether to trust or allow that one to do anything.

True & especially if people rent multiple shows and movies simultaneously I could see the 8 GB being totally necessary. I suppose this is more a suggestion of what *could* happen than anything inevitable. And as for the anonymous commenter I guess that's what you get when you crosspost things like this to reddit. =P I'll just leave it there because it will be funny if it turns out I'm right!

Ah, anonymous comments. Gotta love 'em.

But anyway...

While the AppleTV doesn't *permanently* store any files, it does need to cache them. And with a 47-minute HD TV show like Mad Men weighing in at a hefty 1.4 GB, you could very easily hit that limit with a few TV and movie rentals over the course of a day.

That doesn't preclude applications, of course. I just disagree that it implies it.
